Job Summary
Certified Sterile Processing Technician – Sylva, NC. This position supports sterile processing operations in an acute care facility, preparing and maintaining equipment for a range of surgical and procedural services. The role requires sterile processing training, a professional and friendly approach, and a strong work ethic.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Sterile processing training; 2–5 years of sterile processing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Sterile processing certification.
- Additional Information:
- Rotating call requirement.
- Weekend coverage required approximately one weekend per month.
- The department processes an average of 400 cases per month.
- Equipment includes V-PRO, STERRAD, and ultrasonic washers.
- Scrubs are provided by the facility.
- Assignment dates: 11/16/2026–02/15/2027.
