Job Summary
Certified Surgical Technologist, Certified Operating Room Tech. The position supports surgical procedures by maintaining sterile technique, preparing and handling equipment, and assisting the surgical team in the operating room. The role requires certification, travel experience, orthopedic and scrubbing experience, and experience with da Vinci surgical systems.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week; weekend, call, and holiday coverage required.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist certification
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Travel experience
- Orthopedic experience
- Operating room (OR) scrubbing experience
- Experience with da Vinci surgical systems
- Additional Information:
- Functions under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) while assisting with surgical patient preparation and delegated patient-care duties.
- Performs scrub personnel responsibilities and responds precisely and efficiently to procedural needs.
- Maintains a sterile operating room and verifies that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Cleans, sterilizes, and disinfects equipment and instrumentation used in the clinical operating room setting.
- May be asked to precept new staff.
- Must be available to respond within 30 minutes when called in.
- Assignment dates are 11/23/2026 through 02/25/2027.
