Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) — Adult Operating Room — The organization is seeking a dedicated Certified Operating Room Technician to join the surgical team in the adult operating room. This position involves supporting a variety of general surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and operational efficiency.
Job Details
- Position Description: Support the adult operating room team in performing a wide range of surgical procedures including general surgery, surgical oncology, gynecology, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, plastics, burn, urology, podiatry, and colo-rectal surgeries. The unit has 22 Operating Rooms with a staff of 120, offering 24-hour in-house coverage during day shifts.
- Certifications/Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Start Date: 11/09/2026.
- End Date: 02/08/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) certification, BLS, ACLS, no specific experience requirement, and availability for 12-hour day shifts.
- Additional Information: The role may include rotating on-call shifts, typically two 8-hour shifts per month, supporting the unit’s operation within established policies and guidelines.
