Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) – Lewiston, ME. This position involves supporting surgical procedures within a Level 3 Trauma Main Operating Room that performs cardiac, orthopedic, gynecological, general, ENT, urology, plastics, robotics, and podiatry surgeries. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment to ensure efficient and safe operative care.
Job Details
- Position Description: 4x9 hours shifts, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Includes weekend and week night call responsibilities, totaling 10 call shifts per month.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Scrub Tech, BLS certification, NBSTSA certification, 2 years of surgical tech experience, and vascular experience are required.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have vascular experience. The unit performs a variety of complex surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures and vascular surgeries. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.
