Job Summary:
The outpatient endoscopy center located in Issaquah, Washington, is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in endoscopy procedures, possess a Washington license as a Certified Operating Room Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C), or Surgical Technician, and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. This role involves supporting outpatient endoscopy procedures, including scope processing, sterilization, and patient care. The shift is four 10-hour days, typically from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some variation based on scheduling.

Job Details:

  • Location: Issaquah, Washington
  • Certifications: BLS, CNA, MA-C, or Surgical Tech, Washington license
  • Education & Experience: 0 years minimum experience required; 1 year experience preferred in outpatient endoscopy settings; previous charge experience is a plus
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with general hours from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (starting at 8:30 am on Thursdays), minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Washington license as CNA, MA-C, or Surgical Tech; at least 1 year of experience in outpatient endoscopy procedures; BLS certification; ability to perform sterilization, specimen handling, scope processing, and infection control procedures
  • Additional Information: Up to 3 call shifts per month, with after-hours call from 5:30 pm to 7:00 am on weekdays, and 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekends. Clinicians not therapeutics trained will not take call. Must have 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start.
