Job Summary:
The location is in Barstow, California. This position is for a Certified Operating Room Technician in the surgical technology field. The role involves preparing the operating room, managing sterile fields, passing instruments, and assisting during surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT CERT)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or equivalent program, and passing the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination. At least 1 year of experience in general, orthopedic, vascular, or sterile processing and re-processing. Must be able to work independently. Valid license to be brought on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is required; no local candidates will be accepted.
- Additional Information: There are two positions available due to vacancy. All travel submissions must demonstrate prior travel experience. Please note, all submissions are contingent on the facility's payment processing schedule.
