Job Details
- Schedule: M-F, with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM; weekends rotate; shift hours: 10; minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapy licensure; hospital and inpatient rehab experience; stroke evaluation and treatment experience; Joint Commission Stroke Certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Hospital and inpatient rehab experience; experience with stroke evaluation and treatment
- Responsibilities: Provide manual therapy for neuro re-ed; deliver therapeutic exercise, functional activity, and neuromuscular re-ed; support self-care and functional e-stim; use AIDET communication and immediate service recovery
- Additional Information: The rehab therapy unit includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech. Equipment includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego. Documentation is completed in Meditech Expanse. Floating to an acute hospital may be required if rehab census is low.
