Occupational Therapist Outpatient in Danbury, Connecticut. Job Details:
- Location: Danbury, Connecticut
- Shift Time: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, with varied hours
- Schedule: Department operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; two evenings per week required; no weekends
- Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Connecticut occupational therapist, a minimum of two years' experience as an occupational therapist, and at least one year of outpatient experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment), familiarity with MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment), and experience working in neuro and orthopaedic settings
- Additional Information: The position involves outpatient neuro and ortho therapy, splinting, and requires the ability to work in a team-oriented setting. Candidates should be prepared to function in a fast-paced outpatient environment and possess strong patient communication skills.
