Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Occupational Therapist Inpatient) position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services within a state-of-the-art 41-bed rehabilitation unit. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, ensuring adherence to unit guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation of time and charges. The position requires a proactive, team-oriented clinician skilled in inpatient rehabilitation procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current acute care occupational therapy experience, active Kansas licensure, and BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings and neuro certification or experience are highly preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit features new equipment and technology, including full IADL kitchen facilities, and is staffed by experienced professionals. The role involves a three-hour therapy requirement per inpatient, with responsibilities including documentation and treatment planning.
