Job Summary
Occupational Therapist - Inpatient / Outpatient / Long Term Care / Critical Access Hospital - Outpatient/Acute Care/LTC. This position involves providing occupational therapy services within a small, 46-bed critical access hospital. The clinician will cover outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the facility.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Days, 40 hours per week, starting on 10/06/2026 and ending on 01/05/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license or compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification, 1 year of experience, and 0 years minimum experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient or outpatient experience, acute care setting experience, LTC/swing bed experience, NBCOT certification.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be asked to float between outpatient, acute care, and LTC units within scope of practice. Flexibility for a block schedule is accepted. The assignment offers guaranteed hours of 72 hours per 2 weeks, with the possibility of being called off for 1 shift. The unit primarily supports adult patients, with interventions including Activities of Daily Living, biofeedback, cardiac rehabilitation, edema massage, electrical stimulation, feeding techniques, therapeutic ultrasound, prosthetics, splints, and soft tissue injuries.
