Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing therapeutic services within an acute inpatient care unit on a rotating schedule, including weekends. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and a commitment to delivering personalized patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour days, rotating schedule to include weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: OT Certification required for this assignment. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in inpatient acute care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Additional Information: Weekend rotation, including Saturdays and Sundays. Alaska state fingerprinting and background clearance or provisional status are required prior to start. The unit has 175 beds, with a staff comprising 60 therapy providers, including Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs. The EMR system used is EPIC, and the unit operates under specific policies and guidelines related to inpatient acute care.
