Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing inpatient acute care occupational therapy services within a busy hospital unit. The assignment offers the opportunity to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, rotating to include weekends, with shifts from 07:30AM to 06:00PM or 07:30AM to 04:00PM
- Required Qualifications: OT Certification applicable for the state of Alaska, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, current licensure, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient acute care settings, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have Alaska state fingerprint and background clearance or be in provisional status to start. The unit has 175 beds with a staff of 60 therapy providers including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs. EMR system used is EPIC. Weekend shifts and on-call duties are part of the schedule, including Saturday and Sunday rotations.
