Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Home Health) in Newton, Massachusetts. This position involves providing occupational therapy services to patients in their homes who have impairments, cognitive and/or physical, resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes. The successful candidate will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to identify needs and coordinate services accordingly. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per day
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in occupational therapy with a license from the Board of Registration in Massachusetts; one year of certified home care occupational therapy experience; two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or homecare as an Occupational Therapist; ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices; strong customer service skills; excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills; ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing situations

The start date is based on credentialing clearance; if not cleared by the posted start date, a rescheduled date will be necessary.
