Job Summary:
A Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in Tacoma, Washington, within a Diagnostic Imaging Radiology department. This role involves performing nuclear medicine imaging studies, including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and gastrointestinal procedures. Candidates are required to bring their licenses on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Tacoma, Washington
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, shifts available from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM or 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Washington State license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - ARRT(N)) verification, minimum of 2 years of experience
- Department Specific Equipment: GE, Phillips imaging equipment
- EMR / PACS System: EPIC, McKesson PACS, CVPACS
- Job Duties: Performing 12 scans/studies daily, including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid, and gastrointestinal procedures
- Additional Information: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Department orientation lasts 1 week. Scrubs are not provided, and any professional color can be worn. Minimal call required.
