Job Summary: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NUC) — Omaha, NE. The healthcare provider will perform Nuclear Medicine technology services in an acute care setting on a daytime schedule, supporting diagnostic procedures and patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days (7:00–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday); 40 hours per week (8 shift hours).
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via the NMTCB Certificate; Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (license to submit required); minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology; driver’s license required at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: DOT Certification (preferred at original contract; required at extension within 90 days).
- Additional Information:
- PET experience is required.
- Radiation badge will be provided.
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care; refusal to remove nails may result in contract termination.
- Charting system includes EPIC.
- Cancellation policy: facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks.
