Job Summary: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT), Concord, New Hampshire
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) role supports the delivery of high-quality diagnostic PET/CT imaging by focusing on patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Responsibilities include preparing patients through pre-screening and instruction, performing aseptic injection techniques, following radiation safety regulations, and producing diagnostically effective images based on physician orders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: (4) 10-hour day shifts; Tuesday through Friday
- Required Qualifications:
- Nuclear Medicine PET/CT imaging experience: 1–2 years
- New Hampshire Radiology/CT Technologist license
- Nuclear Medicine certification: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Additional Information:
- Produces high-quality diagnostic images and effectively communicates with patients and/or radiologists.
- Performs patient safety procedures, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
- Follows radiation safety and documentation requirements when working with radioactive materials and patients.
- Troubleshoots scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, and coils).
- Trains new technologists and/or personnel.
