Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist 2 position is available in Clovis, California. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety in accordance with federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Candidates must have at least 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Job Details:
- Location: Clovis, California
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, with occasional Saturdays, totaling 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or have an Associate's Degree in a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred). Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Must have a CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine license covering all scopes including venipuncture. At least 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field, additional post-primary advanced certifications such as ARRT(CT) in Computed Tomography, NMTCB(PET) in Positron Emission Tomography, or NMTCB(NCT) in Nuclear Cardiology.
- Additional Information: This role requires working closely with the nuclear medicine physician, performing a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and adhering to all safety and regulatory protocols.
