Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NUC — The organization is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The role involves supporting patient flow, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours weekly. Must stay past 5 PM until all cases are completed and work on weekends and on-call shifts as required.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved program, with 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB is required, along with Texas state licensure. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Additional Information: The technologist will perform routine and advanced imaging, support other imaging technologists, participate in quality assurance, and ensure safety protocols are followed for radiation and personnel. Flexibility in working shifts and locations is necessary, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start ASAP as a backfill replacement and be able to work the full duration of the assignment.
