MRI Technologist in the MRI specialty—located at the healthcare provider. This role involves performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a hospital setting. Job Details
- Shift Time: Rotating
- Schedule: 3rd Shift - Nights, Monday through Friday (1700 - 0130), with shift hours primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 0600-1930, plus variable coverage hours as needed
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
- Certifications: Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) or Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT; current license from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT); licensed in MRI by the Oregon Board of Imaging (OBMI); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Education & Experience: Related Bachelor's or Associate degree; at least 1 year of experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital-setting preferred, but not mandatory
- Licensure: Current licensing requirements include ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and MRI licensure in Oregon
- Responsibilities include performing MRI scans across various departments such as neuro with perfusion, musculoskeletal (MSK), abdomen, critical care, pediatric, including some NICU, and general anesthesia patients. Equipment used includes EPIC, PACS, Siemens SKYRA 3.0T, Siemens Aera 1.5T MRI, and a temporary mobile MRI.
- Orientation: 2-4 weeks on day shift with possible backup call until comfortable working the night shift.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Other: Must adhere to dress code (medical scrubs, professional appearance). No specific experience minimum years beyond 1 year preferred.
