Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position located in Hudson, Florida. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a busy imaging unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working a flexible schedule, including day shifts Monday through Friday, night shifts, and weekends with rotation.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30; Night shift from 15:00 to 01:30; Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 20:30. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an MRI Technologist, Florida license, and ability to work independently in the department with Radiologist availability for questions. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs; willingness to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures.
- Additional Information: The unit specializes in neuro, abdominal, and MSK MRI exams, including MRA and ARTHROGRAMS. The department is planning a software upgrade from GE 23X to GE 30X with AirDL, enhancing scan speed and sequence options. Future expansion includes a second scanner and departmental growth.
