MRI Technologist position available in Ellsworth, Maine. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a general imaging department supporting outpatient and inpatient care. Job Details
- Position: MRI Technologist
- Location: Ellsworth, ME
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, four 10-hour shifts per cycle, Monday through Thursday one week, Tuesday through Friday the next, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/06/2027
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT, State license; 2 years of MRI experience; experience with adult and older pediatric patients, IV starts, and imaging modalities listed; ability to work independently
- Support on the Unit: Lead Technicians in other modalities, manager/supervisor available, Rapid Response/Code Team, radiologist on site Wednesday and Thursday, hospitalist and emergency department coverage 24/7
- Technology/Equipment: EMR system Cerner, PACS Agfa, 1.5 Tesla Philips Ingenia Ambition MRI machine; Philips experience preferred but not required
- Additional Information: No on-call duty, no weekend rotation, no holiday shifts, free parking available, professional attire with solid color scrubs, orientation included in first week, no floating required
