Job Summary:
MRI Technologist in a healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires working a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts, including some evenings, with no on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Position Description: MRI Technologist with experience in magnetic resonance imaging, working in a teaching hospital environment. Responsible for conducting imaging procedures with Phillips MRI systems, requiring prior experience with this equipment and recent Epic EMR system use.
- Certifications and Education: BLS certification required; ARRT or ARMRIT license specific to MRI, with advanced licensure in Phillips MRI systems.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including prior travel experience preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
- Additional Responsibilities: Must be flexible with schedule, available to work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day). No block schedules; work days span Monday through Sunday.
- Requirements: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained and complete work history details (including bed count, EMR system, facility type, etc.) are required for submission.
- Travel: No travel required for this position.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
