Job Summary
MRI Technologist — located in the healthcare organization’s facility, this role involves performing routine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams for inpatient, intensive care unit (ICU), and emergency room (ER) patients. The position requires expertise in independently operating MRI scanners and delivering high-quality imaging services in a hospital setting.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: ARRT preferred or ARMRIT certified, NY state license with injection, BLS, a minimum of 3 years of experience, with the ability to independently scan patients.
- Schedule: Night shifts, Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Responsibilities: Proficient in routine MRI exams, responsible for scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients. Experience with the Siemens Skyra 3T and Siemens Symphony 1.5T MRI scanners.
- Additional Information: Must be able to perform scans independently on demanding imaging equipment within a hospital environment.
