- Additional Information: Gathers information and documents the psychosocial needs of patients and families through patient/family meetings, nursing reports, and consultation with medical staff. Ensures patients and families receive appropriate clinical services, medical plans, and emotional support. Provides patients and families with developmental activities, supervising volunteers and interns to ensure quality interactions. Maintains a safe activity space conducive to play and documentation of attendance and interventions. Performs other duties as assigned. Meets the basic psychosocial and developmental needs of children and families to reduce stress and anxiety associated with hospitalization and healthcare encounters.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
