Job Summary
Medical Technologist (MT) — Price, UT. This position involves providing inpatient and outpatient laboratory services at a 49-bed healthcare facility serving Carbon and Emery counties. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, supporting various laboratory departments including chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: MT ASCP or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree, 4+ years of experience, and location in Price, UT.
- Schedule: Evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday through Wednesday, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Required Qualifications: MT ASCP or equivalent certification, Bachelor’s Degree, 4+ years of laboratory experience, and ability to work in a team environment in stressful situations.
- Additional Information: Experience in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, urinalysis, microbiology (minimal), and the ability to work independently are preferred. The role involves working with equipment such as EXL, Sysmex, Siemens Advantus, and others in diverse laboratory settings.
