Job Summary:
The healthcare facility is seeking a General Medical Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a freestanding emergency department located within a 50.5-mile radius in the region. The role involves providing laboratory services in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient care with technical expertise and compliance with regulatory standards. The position is scheduled for 12-hour daytime shifts, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Florida Licensure in Microbiology, Serology, Immunohematology, Chemistry, and Hematology; ASCP or AMT certification; minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Technologist; ability to multitask and work across multiple disciplines; experience with Wellsky is preferred; experience in Epic EMR system is required; must be agile and adaptable.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires adherence to dress code policies including pewter grey scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and policies regarding jewelry, hair, beard, and nail polish. Submission must include current licensure and certifications.
