Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) – Generalist — Various Locations. This position involves working as part of the laboratory team in a healthcare facility, providing essential diagnostic testing and operations. The role offers flexibility across different shifts, including day, mids, and nights, with the opportunity to work independently in various laboratory areas.
Job Details
- Location: Various locations, with floating to Aspirus Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and Eagle River.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, including 8, 10, and 12 hours during days, mids, and nights; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications, Education & Experience: MLT, MT, or CLS certification. ASCP preferred but not required. Associate or bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 1+ years of core laboratory experience, including blood bank and phlebotomy.
- Additional Qualifications: Ability to work independently, resilient, adaptable to change, and social. Hardworking and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Responsibilities: General laboratory testing across all areas, blood bank procedures, and phlebotomy. Familiarity with Epic and Meditech, Beaker, and unit-specific skills.
- Shift Notes: Flexibility required for shifts, including alternating days, nights, and weekends. Willingness to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
- Submission Instructions: Candidates must be willing to live outside a 50-mile radius of the location.
