Position Description:
The laboratory teams are responsible for testing samples that may include blood, body fluids, and tissue to aid in diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, or conditions that may need medical attention. Lab tests are processed for hospital inpatients and emergency room patients twenty-four hours a day. In addition, testing is performed on outpatient and clinic specimens. All laboratories are licensed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CLIA) and accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
Required Qualifications:
ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician qualification; completion of relevant education in medical laboratory technology; experience with Epic, Antibody IDs, Emergency blood banking, or Ortho Vitros 5600 preferred; availability to work daytime shifts; and 0 years of experience required.
Schedule:
Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
