Job Summary:
This medical laboratory technologist position is located in Canton, Georgia, within a healthcare facility that requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working during night shifts, with a focus on laboratory testing and analysis as per the organization’s standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Canton, Georgia
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Minimum Qualifications: Valid certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or the Australian Association of Bioanalysts (AAB); minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty; Cerner experience is required. The organization will only consider candidates with titles of Med Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist. Med Laboratory Technicians will not be considered.
- Required Qualifications: Certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB; at least 2 years of experience in the specialty; Cerner Laboratory Information System experience; location must be within 50 miles of Canton, Georgia.
- Schedule: Night shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: The position involves clinical laboratory testing with adherence to facility protocols and SOPs. Candidates must be able to perform laboratory procedures accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
