Job Details
- Position Description: Performs a broad spectrum of laboratory tests, ensuring precise sample collection and processing, operating diverse laboratory equipment, and maintaining strict safety and confidentiality standards.
- Required Qualifications: Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) certification or licensure, associate degree in medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, Hawaii State license as a Technologist, Technician, or Specialist, and proficiency in English communication.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with knowledge of quality assurance practices, Laboratory Information System familiarity, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Physical demands include manual dexterity, ability to wear PPE, and occasional lifting up to 35 pounds. The work environment features indoor laboratory conditions with potential outdoor work depending on position. Travel may be required.
