Job Summary:
Mammographer in the diagnostic imaging specialty. This position involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, mammo-guided procedures, and specialized biopsies. The role requires comprehensive breast imaging experience, proficiency with specific equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment on day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment start date is 09/07/2026 and concludes on 12/05/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), mammography certification, and ARRT or ARDMS breast ultrasound or breast sonography certification. BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience at an imaging center, with experience operating upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy equipment strongly preferred. Must have at least 1 year of experience with the McKesson PACS image archive storage system and EPIC electronic medical record (EMR).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy, prone table biopsy, and specific mammography and breast ultrasound equipment such as Hologic Selenia dimensions systems, Hologic Affirm system, IU22 Philips, and GE Pristina.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work in a high-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks effectively. Candidates must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months prior to consideration. No local candidates are eligible.
