Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for the Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor in Edwardsville, IL. This position involves providing bedside nursing care to rehabilitation patients with conditions such as strokes, amputations, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other trauma-related diagnoses. The role supports patient recovery and requires teamwork, agility, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality care.
Job Details
- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
- Location: Edwardsville, IL
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse certification, active BLS certification, Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Rehab-specific experience, IV experience, basic wound care, medication administration
- Additional Information:
-Unit Profile: 34 beds with patient ratios of 7:1- Equipment used includes IVs, Tube Feeding pumps, Hoyers, wheelchairs, and walkers
- EHR systems utilized are Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc
- No float requirements
- First day report at 8:30 AM, reporting to Melissa Nichols, Educator
- Scrub color required is Navy Blue
