Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor nurse — located in Edwardsville, IL. This role involves providing specialized inpatient care within a state-of-the-art 34-bed acute rehabilitation hospital, focusing on patients recovering from strokes, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, motor vehicle accidents, orthopedic injuries, trauma, and debility. Job Details
- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Rehabilitation Specialty
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing, 0 years of experience, location in Edwardsville, IL
- Additional Information: Experience in bedside nursing and basic wound care needed; rehab-specific skills and IV experience preferred. Must be a team player, agile, and a problem solver. Scrub color: Navy Blue. First day report time: 8:30 AM. Reporting to: Melissa Nichols, Educator.
- Unit Profile: 34 beds with patient ratios of 7:1, equipped with IVs, tube feeding pumps, Hoyers, wheelchairs, and walkers. Electronic health records used include Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc.
