Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Specialist in a healthcare facility. - Position Description: Operates stationary radiographic equipment in the Heart and Vascular Center to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Produces quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrates knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR) imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills. Functions independently and cooperatively within the department and hospital-wide. Must provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction. Demonstrates competence in X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Radiologic technologist license/certification, RRT licensure, Cath Lab experience, Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months, 0 years minimum experience, flexibility to work Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Call obligation required with a 30-minute response time. Expectation of around 12 call days, including 2 weekends, within a 6-week period.
