Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR CL) Technologist position in Tampa, Florida. This role involves providing specialized radiology interventions, including performing and assisting with procedures such as lines, drains, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), BRTO, gastric-tubes, nephrostomy tubes, fistulagrams, arteriograms, and moderate sedation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, with rotating call shifts during weekdays, staying late shifts, and weekend call required.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support). Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, ARRT certification, BLS certification. Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of specialty experience in interventional radiology procedures. Location Requirements: Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience is required; Level 1 trauma experience is preferred, but Level 2 trauma experience will be considered.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position is a backfill, with an immediate start required. No local candidates eligible. Skillset includes handling lines, drains, TACE, BRTO, gastric-tubes, nephrostomy tubes, fistulagrams, arteriograms, and moderate sedation. No IVS, direct to manager. This role is at a Level 1 Trauma Center with 1,040 beds. EMR: Epic.
