Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Critical Care (IRCC) Nurse position is based in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized critical care within the Angiography and Interventional Labs unit of a high-acuity, trauma-certified facility. The ideal candidate will support complex procedures such as thrombectomy, atherectomy, TIPS, EVAR, stroke, and trauma care, contributing to the outstanding patient outcomes at this Level I Trauma Center.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with call requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Critical Care or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, applicable certifications required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke and trauma care, management of critically ill patients.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Unit specific policies and guidelines must be attached.
- Unit features advanced equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream.
- Supporting a high acuity patient population with a focus on stroke and trauma care.
- The unit staff includes a Lead Tech, RN, and ARRT / RTR / RCIS team members, typically 3-4 persons per team.
- Dress code: Royal blue and black RN uniforms; Navy blue and black Tech uniforms.
- The unit is recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center, with a family-like atmosphere and opportunities for growth.
