Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician position available in Olympia, Washington. This role involves supporting a fast-paced Interventional Radiology department that provides a variety of complex procedures supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Olympia, WA
- Schedule: 4x10 hour days (0700-1730), minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist), Washington State License, IR/CV Certification, 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting system experience, outpatient or operating room experience, ablations preferred.
- Special Procedures and Skills: Angioplasty, Carotid Angiography, Carotid Stenting, Catheter/drain exchange, Chest Tube Placement, Cystoscopy, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Discogram, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, Equipment setup, ERCP, Gastrostomy, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, GE Innova IGS, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Nephrostomy, Paracentesis, Percutaneous Stone Extraction, Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Radio embolization, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), Ureteral Stent Placement, Vertebroplasty, biopsies, sterile technique.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Interventional Radiology.
- Additional Information: Support for outpatient procedures, trauma level experience not required, flu and COVID-19 vaccines are required. All requested references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years must be included in submittals.
- Travel and Time Off: All RTO must be included in submittal. On-call one day during the week and one weekend per month.
