Interventional Radiology Clinical Nurse (INTRA CL) — Miami, FL. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a high-volume interventional radiology unit focused on neuro and vascular procedures. The role includes supporting complex interventions, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN, ACLS, BLS, RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification. Vascular interventional radiology procedural experience, knowledge of catheterization lab/interventional radiology protocols and procedures, neuro-interventional experience, and high-level communication skills required.
- Unit Information: Neuro-interventional procedures, structural heart interventions (TAVR, Mitra Clip), carotid stenting, peripheral arterial cases, lumbar punctures.
- Schedule: Four ten-hour shifts per week, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN with ACLS and BLS certifications, vascular IR procedural experience, knowledge of protocols, neuro-interventional background, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Additional Information: Must have neuro experience. Ability to arrive in less than 30 minutes when called in. The unit maintains a high standard of clinical care, recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and a top stroke center within the organization. Daily huddle calls and collaborative team environment are integral to the role.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
