Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR CL) technologist position is located in Mesa, Arizona. This role involves performing specialized radiographic procedures, including interventional and diagnostic interventions in accordance with established policies and protocols. The technologist ensures optimal patient care and collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification from an approved radiologic technology program, national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing prescribed radiographic procedures, including invasive/interventional procedures in the cath lab, using independent judgment and technical proficiency. Responsibilities include patient education, equipment quality control, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the proper operation of workflow and inventory management to prevent service interruptions. The technologist may also supervise students and support staff as needed.
