Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Laboratory (CL) technician located in MESA, Arizona. This position involves performing specialized radiographic procedures within the interventional radiology department, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety. The role requires adherence to established policies, procedures, and protocols to deliver optimal patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; current national certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable; BLS certification; 2 years of clinical experience in radiologic procedures; experience in interventional radiology or cath lab preferred; location in Arizona.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education or experience in interventional radiology or cardiovascular procedures.
- Additional Information: Performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures as directed, following department policies and protocols. Educates patients regarding procedures, produces high-quality images, and maintains accurate documentation. Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures and radiopharmaceutical administration. Performs equipment quality control and troubleshooting, ensuring safety and compliance with radiation safety standards. Ensures the efficient operation of workflow, monitors supplies, and supports interdisciplinary team collaboration. May oversee the activities of students and support staff.
