Job Summary:
The Madison, Wisconsin-based Interventional Radiology Technologist position involves providing specialized imaging services in an outpatient setting at a state-of-the-art ambulatory facility. The role requires working closely with vascular interventional physicians and nursing staff to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using multiple imaging modalities, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT. Candidates must bring their licensed radiographer credential to the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with start hours between 0700 and 0830, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology, Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer, ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist), ARRT (Vascular Interventional), BLS (American Heart Association), minimum 2 years clinical interventional imaging experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charting system experience with Epic, trauma level II experience, charge experience, and inpatient RN experience with at least two years of recent acute care in the specialty.
- Travel Experience: Not required.
- Certifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist), ARRT (Vascular Interventional), BLS, CT, Wisconsin Radiographer License.
- Additional Information: Travelers are required to float as needed. Local rule specifies candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility; locals are not accepted. Pass/fail telemetry testing with strict criteria is required prior to start, including adult and pediatric cardiac rhythm identification. The tests must be passed within two attempts for each, with a third attempt allowed upon submission of a cardiac review course certificate; failure after three attempts results in cancellation of the assignment.
