Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR Tech) position located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves working in a teaching hospital environment with ongoing interaction with students and new hires. The position requires participation in a rotation that includes day, night, weekend, and holiday on-call shifts, with assignments ending on Saturdays. Orientation is scheduled for 08/10/2026 and 08/24/2026, held every other Monday. Candidates must have current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and prior travel experience is mandatory for all Centra positions.
Job Details:
- Shift: 9-hour days
- Schedule: 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications: Valid certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, including neuro diagnostic and neuro intervention techniques; 2 years of relevant experience; experience working in neuro diagnostic and neuro intervention procedures; must have prior travel experience; able to explain all work history gaps over 90 days; skills checklist; copy of Nursys license; must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are 08/10/2026 and 08/24/2026, scheduled on Mondays every other week. The assignment may be canceled by the client up to 27 hours prior due to census changes. All RTO requests must be included in the submission packet. The facility is a teaching hospital where team members are encouraged to support students and new hires, with potential for training or precepting responsibilities.
