Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This role involves performing neurointerventional procedures such as stroke interventions, stenting, and coiling. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: La Crosse, WI
- Position: IR Tech (Interventional Radiology Technician)
- Shift: 8-hour variable days (72 hours bi-weekly)
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have an associate degree or certificate, hold a Wisconsin Licensure (WI Licrad), ARRT certification, and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience is required, with ideally 5 or more years; proficiency in neurointervention procedures such as stroke interventions, stenting, and coiling is essential. Candidates should be comfortable and confident in scrubbing aneurisms and strokes. Prior experience with Epic electronic medical record system is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in special procedures such as interventional, angiography, or cardiac catheterization procedures for at least 2 years.
- Schedule: 8-hour variable days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of the accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start. The schedule includes every 6th weekend and potential holiday call with a response time of 30 minutes. Flexibility, adaptability, accountability, and teamwork are essential qualities for success in this role.
