Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Interventional Radiology Clinical Nurse Specialist for a day shift position at the West Main campus. This role involves supporting neurology, orthopedic trauma, and organ transplant procedures, with responsibilities including scrub and/or circulating in various surgical specialties such as general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, Urology, and trauma. The position is scheduled for 10-hour shifts, with up to 2 weekends per month, and requires immediate availability to start within four weeks for compliance orientation.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BILH coversheet and MA license required; neuro, ortho trauma, kidney transplant experience required. No minimum years of experience specified.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 with an end date of 02/13/2027.
- Position Responsibilities: Support surgical teams in a high-volume OR environment focusing on inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery. Involves scrubbing and circulating in a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, kidney, and liver transplants.
- Additional Information: Primarily based on the West Main campus but may be floated to east or CVI OR; short call shifts once a week with 30-minute response time; holiday work eligibility; RTO must be approved.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide availability for interviews at the time of application. All RTO requests must be presented at time of application. Candidates who have worked for the organization within the last six months will not be accepted unless separated for six months.
