Job Summary:
This position is for an Interventional Radiology Laboratory Support specialist in Burlingame, California. The role involves supporting the interventional radiologists and cardiologists by performing or assisting with a wide range of interventional procedures. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day. The position offers a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, starting between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, with every third weekend on call.

- Additional Experience and Skills: Experience in accessing/managing ports, angiography (including genitourinary system), angioplasty, aortography, ASD closures, cardiac device placement, carotid stenting, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access and port placement, chemoembolization, chest tube placement, cystoscopy, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, dialysis graft creation/revision, ECMO, electrophysiology procedures, embolization, endograft placement, endovascular interventions, ERCP, esophageal stent placement, EVAR, gastrostomy, hemodynamic monitoring, Impella, IVC filter placement/removal, AICD programming, internal/external biliary drainage, interpretation of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab, laser-assisted procedures, LAA closure, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, nephrostomy, optical coherence tomography, pacemaker insertion, PACS, paracentesis, pelvic angiography, PCI, percutaneous hepatic angiography, PTCA, PPI, PICC care, pulmonary arteriography, radio embolization, RFA, renal angiography/stenting, right heart catheterization, room circulator, rotablader athrectomy, sterile procedures, visceral angiography, specialized equipment, stent placement, TEVAR, thoracentesis, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TAVR, upper/lower extremity angiography, ureteral and uterine artery stenting, vascular closure systems, ventricular assist devices, vertebroplasty, Watchman device, and other related procedures.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit with valid expiration dates uploaded; CA license active and validated within last 2 weeks via Nursys.
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in catheterization laboratory cases.
