Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist — Location unspecified. This position involves providing skilled radiologic procedures within the IR specialty, focusing on thrombectomy devices, angioplasty, and vascular imaging. The role requires independent work in procedure rooms, supporting trauma cases, and covering on-call shifts as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: CT ARRT and IR ARRT certifications; Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology; Radiology MA license; registered RT ART. Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include performing IR procedures such as thrombectomy, angioplasty, TIPS, and stroke interventions, utilizing GE or Siemens imaging systems, and working independently in IR procedure rooms with on-call duties.
- Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call coverage. Orientation is weekly, every Monday barring holidays.

- Additional Information: Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms, take on call independently for trauma, and demonstrate extensive thrombectomy device knowledge is required.
