Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist — This position is based in a healthcare facility environment. The role involves working independently in IR procedure rooms, with responsibilities including performing advanced thrombectomy and angio procedures, and supporting trauma and emergency cases. The assignment begins on 11/09/2026 and concludes on 05/09/2027.
Job Details
- Location: The position is located within the facility environment.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in CT (Computed Tomography) and IR (Interventional Radiology), Radiologic Technology Vocational or Technical training, Radiology Medical Assistant License, Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT ART), at least 2 years of IR experience, ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms, on-call capability, knowledge of GE or Siemens equipment, and experience with thromectomy devices, TIPS, and angioplasty.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with extensive thrombectomy device knowledge, Angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty, and weekend coverage.
- Additional Information: Ability to work weekend and on-call coverage; orientation occurs weekly every Monday, barring holidays. Candidates should provide available interview dates and times upon submission.
