Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist — Boston, Massachusetts
The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist supports diagnostic and interventional procedures across IR, computed tomography (CT)-guided procedures, vascular surgery, cardiac hybrid procedures, endovascular neurosurgery, and endoscopic interventions. Responsibilities include assisting with a range of interventional services such as angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, and related procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift (10 shift hours), 40.0 minimum hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved program in Radiologic Technology; Radiologic Technology American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Interventional Radiology experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, and knowledge/experience with procedures such as transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS), dialysis access/fistula work, and yttrium-90 (Y90)/selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT).
