Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician position available in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures in a busy hospital setting, with a focus on neurointerventional and vascular procedures. The technician will work on a day shift and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, including scrub and circulate roles. Previous neurointerventional radiology experience is highly preferred. Certifications required include BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Vascular or Cath Lab experience, vascular operative room (OR) experience, and vascular intervention registered nurse (VI RN) certification are a plus.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90 therapy, G tube placements, TIPS, Inari cases, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties. Candidates should be flexible, adaptable team players who can work well in a fast-paced environment. The position starts on 08/24/2026 at the hospital’s Interventional Radiology Department located within the K Tower on Biltmore Avenue.
