Job Summary
Histologist. The role supports histology services for specimens ranging from newborn to geriatric patients. The schedule consists of eight-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with holiday coverage requirements.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday, with weekends closed.
- Required Qualifications:
- ASCP (HT) or ASCP (HTL) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years required.
- Additional Information:
- Responsibilities include serving patients from newborn through geriatric age groups.
- Travelers must work two of the following three holiday periods: Thanksgiving, Christmas or Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day or New Year’s Eve.
- Block schedules are not available.
- Orientations are held every other Monday.
